Who & what is Simply Melt Away?

First, I want to answer a question that was asked that is a legitimate one. What IS a Soy Wax Melt?
A melt is made from wax. Ours are made from soy. In order to enjoy a melt, you simply take one from the package, place it in a melter and as it melts, fragrance is released, filling your room with scent. No flame, no left over jar; once the fragrance is gone from the melt, you simply remove it from the melter and pop in a new one. If you have trouble getting the melt out of the melter, simply place it in the freezer for a few minutes and it should pop right out. If that doesn't work, melt it down just a bit and before it fully cools, remove it while it is no longer "stuck" to the melter. I keep a heat resistant disposable container in the cupboard and I fully melt down my tarts and pour them into the container. Once it is full, I toss the lump of wax in the trash (where it will biodegrade), and reuse the heat resistant plastic container. You can wash the bowl from your melter in very hot water and a good dish liquid like Dawn® to remove all traces of the previous melt if needed. Most of the time this is not necessary.
Now, for who we are:
Simply Melt Away was born from a desire to be able to have the best soy wax melts that money could buy in all respects from excellent scent to a very small eco-footprint. I had searched high and low to find melts that were all natural biodegradable soy wax, that were highly scented with TRULY high quality fragrance oils that had a tremendous scent throw, and for packaging that wasn’t going to end up in a landfill somewhere forever.
It was impossible to find all three of these qualities. Inevitably something would be missing in all of the melts that I tried. So I just decided to make my own.
I researched ingredients, soy wax manufacturers, fragrance oil manufacturers, the whole nine yards until I found exactly what I wanted.
I have been able to find superb quality waxes created without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals, exceptional fragrance oils that can give powerful AND lasting scent without having to use a ton of it, and packaging that will not still be in a landfill 100 years from now, (i.e. plastics, aluminum foils, glass, etc.) and also shipping products that are biodegradable and/or have been created from post consumer materials in the first place.
With all of my research, I discovered that I could not only make these for myself, but provide these superior quality melts to others that were seeking the same things.
I read somewhere once that you can be the cheapest, or you can be the best. And while I strive to keep costs as low as possible, I will not sacrifice for the quality of my melts. It just isn’t going to happen; even if I am not able to make a ton of money. So you can be ASSURED that you are getting THE BEST melt at THE LOWEST price that you will EVER pay for the same item. (And let’s face it; you aren’t going to find this type of product just anywhere!)

*Please note: Don’t be fooled by statements such as “Triple Scented”. Some fragrance oils are lighter in scent throw than others. Adding more oil doesn’t make a scent stronger it just means you are getting more lightly scented oil than necessary in your melts. If fragrance oil smells light coming out of the bottle, then it will be light in your melts. Even in high-quality fragrance oils, some scents are just lighter due to the nature of the product. Do your own research on fragrance oils and don’t fall for gimmicks!
