Ordering and Shipping Terms
 
Ordering from Simply Melt Away is easy! Simply browse our store, choose the fragrance and number of Soy Wax Melts you want, and pay for them through our simple check out process. You can save your information for future orders, and get the status of an order at any time after you place it, simply by using your email address and order number! Payments are accepted via direct cash payment, e-check or credit card via PayPal’s secure server. You DO NOT have to have a Paypal account in order to use this service! However if you want to get an account, you can sign up HERE. It is FREE to sign up! Your statement will show a payment to Traxel Enterprises, as Simply Melt Away is a division of Traxel Enterprises.

Continued Information Concerning Hot Weather...
 So please, you WILL be able to watch your order right here on the site to see when it was shipped. Most of the time I use the PayPal payment and you will receive an automatic tracking and can watch it as it is coming so you can be prepared.

I DO have some cold packs and I will not charge you for them if you want them used. HOWEVER I cannot cover the shipping for them because they are heavy. Please, if you want a cold pack, state that in your comments, I will adjust your shipping and send you an invoice for the difference.

Please be aware that if you receive an order of melts and they are soft and a bit mis-shapen they are fine. Just let them cool in the air conditioning a bit and you can use them in your melter just fine. They might not be perfectly formed, but they will work, just the same.

At this time we only accept orders from and ship to the US, including military bases and now to Canada. Please be aware that shipping to military bases, Hawaii, Alaska & Canada may be more costly and take longer than what is quoted in our shipping chart. If so, you will be billed the difference before your item is shipped.

 

We guarantee an excellent quality product, timely shipping, and replacement in the event of error! Please be aware that if you have a tart melt that gets cracked or broken during shipment (despite our care in cushioning it) it will still perform perfectly in your melter. Please do not request refunds or exchanges on a cracked or broken melt as there is no need for a replacement.

 

All orders ship in 3-7 Business Days (business days do not include weekends or holidays, therefore it could take up to 10 days) from the receipt & clearing of payment. If there is a shipping delay of any type, you will be notified. Normally orders go out very quickly; usually within just a couple of days, However, it CAN take the full 7 business days to ship your order depending on our current workload.

 

During busy holiday seasons, your order may take up to 10-14 business days to ship (once payment has CLEARED). Please be prepared for these longer shipping times during Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and other “gift giving” holidays!

 

We use only USPS to ship. All orders are shipped via Priority Mail, and sometimes Parcel Post, or First Class if needed, depending on the size of the order. Shipping is QUOTED at the time of order and the quote will sometimes be higher than actual shipping. Actual shipping will be calculated and adjusted at the time your order ships. If the quoted price is a little more than what you paid, we will take what you have paid. If the quoted price was a LOT more, then we will invoice you for the difference. (Please be aware that orders to Alaska and Hawaii will cost more to ship and you will receive an invoice for the difference before shipping if needed. That invoice MUST be paid before your item will be shipped.) If you over pay on shipping, the difference WILL be refunded via PayPal or if you wish we can send you a coupon for a future order instead.

 

Approximate Shipping Fees:

(Please keep in mind this is an approximate shipping rate. You will ONLY be charged ACTUAL shipping and may receive a refund if we can ship your item more cheaply than quoted. Some products, such as the melters may weigh a bit more. Therefore  you may be charged a little more than what is quoted when the order is complete.)

 
Please be prepared to pay actual shipping if it is more than quoted at the time of your order! We have no control over shipping prices and we charge ACTUAL shipping ONLY. If your order turns out to cost LESS to ship you WILL receive a refund, but if it is more you WILL receive an invoice for the difference! Please, again, be aware this is out of our control. We charge what the postal service charges us! If you have a problem with shipping fees, please take that up with the postal service. If you need proof of fees before we ship, please just ask. We will provide you with the weight of your package and our zip code so you may check it at the post office website for yourself. Shipments to APO, FPO, Hawaii, Alaska & Canada may cost more than to the 48 contiguous states. Thank you for understanding!

$.01-$10 ships for $4.95

$10.01-$25.00 ships for $6.95

$25.01-$40.00 ships for $8.95

$40.01-$60.00 ships for $10.95

$60.01-Up ships for $12.95 & Up

 

Some orders over $60 will very likely require additional shipping. If so, you will receive a separate invoice for the additional shipping and it must be paid before your order is shipped.
 
Please remember, we have absolutely NO control over shipping fees, therefore if we have to collect additional fees to ship your order it is because we are being charged that amount. We make no money on shipping. We do not charge any handling fee to cover boxes, packing, etc. like some companies do either. We try very hard to ship your package in the lightest weight boxes, using the lightest weight packing materials possible to keep your costs down.

  

We cannot be responsible for products that are left on the front porch, etc. that melt in the heat or disappear. If the USPS states that the order was delivered, and it is missing, then we cannot be held responsible for sending out a replacement. If you live in an area where this is likely then tell us AHEAD OF TIME and we will include a Signature Confirmation Request with your order for a small additional fee! DO NOT allow your order to sit out in the hot sun. Due to the nature of the product, orders left in the sun can and will melt! You accept this risk when placing and order. Please make sure someone is home to claim your package for you.

 

Scents are a matter of taste, and we cannot issue a store credit for something you “just didn’t like”. We do guarantee replacement in the event that the product is of substandard quality. In this event we may require that you send the product back to us at your expense, however if the product is found to have defects, we will issue not only a replacement product and pay shipping back to you, but a refund for your RETURN shipping as well. Original shipping is NOT refundable.

 

If you are unsure about a certain scent, then you are welcome to order a smaller package or a sample to “try out” a scent before you order larger quantities. From time to time samples will be made available in certain scents  ahead of time to get feedback on the scent before we actually add it to our line. So if you see a scent in the samples list that we don't have in our regular line, that is why. We are testing it, and would love your feedback on it. Our samples sometimes consist of tarts that are flawed cosmetically in some way, but will have the same strong scent and be just as large as any of our “regular” tart melts! You may from time to time receive free samples in your regular order and we may ask you for your opinion!
 

Please be aware that Simply Melt Away, packs all products carefully using clean recycled or biodegradable materials including cornstarch packing peanuts we have received in our own shipments, paper shreds, and recycled tissue paper. We believe in protecting our environment and keeping your costs low by using these reusable materials. We never use environmentally unsound packing materials in any of our shipments unless we have received them in something we have ordered (and DO NOT throw them in the trash), then we will reuse it and encourage you to do the same. We do use either recycled cardboard boxes, boxes we have obtained to be reused from retail establishments or recyclable boxes we have received directly from USPS. Please recycle or reuse all packing materials you receive in your order! Your packaging can be reused for your own shipping, boxing up your own gifts, packing away collectables, or any number of other uses! If you are not going to reuse your shipping products, please be responsible and place them in an appropriate recycling container.

 

Simply Melt Away is Secret Pal friendly! If you wish to place an order for your Secret Pal, please use the recipient's name in the "Shipping" field during checkout and indicate in the "Comments" area that it is to be kept a secret! We will ship the order with a blank packing slip. We will never divulge your identity to your recipient secret pal recipient!
